The Community Foundation of South Alabama has announced the availability of grants for programs that advance the work of creating just and equitable communities. These organizations represent a broad range of environmental, social, economic and racial justice groups committed to enhancing grassroots advocacy and civic engagement.
The Community Foundation of South Alabama will be offering two types of funding opportunities which include Capacity Building and Impact grants through the Social Impact Initiative.

Impact grants will provide support for organizations with projects that have clear plans for addressing community concerns. Grants will be made to groups that have an organized constituency base, clear analysis of structural causes behind the concerns, concrete goals and strategies.
